Old Town's Inaugural NYE Fireworks Display 2025

The City of Alexandria is excited to announce its inaugural New Year’s Eve Fireworks Celebration at the Waterfront. On December 31, join us from 7 p.m. to midnight at Waterfront Park (1 Prince St.) as we bid farewell to 2025 with live music, a vibrant waterfront ambiance, and two spectacular fireworks displays at 7:30 p.m. and midnight to ring in the New Year!

Stop by DASH’s cozy warming bus on Strand St. for a comfortable place to relax between the firework shows, or visit the Mobile Art Lab to create a fun and festive craft to take home.

Event Schedule:

• 7 – 10 pm: DJ One Luv

• 7:30 pm: Evening Fireworks Show

• 10 – 11:55 pm: Dream City Brass

• Midnight (12 am) Midnight Fireworks

Whether you're bringing the family for the earlier fireworks or staying up to welcome the New Year at midnight, this event is a perfect opportunity to celebrate safely and enjoyably with friends and neighbors.
